ruyuMy day was good. I got payed on friday. I worked most of today and came home to find my acceptance letter from the university (no, I wasn't worried, just anxious >.< ) My sister invited us ( us being our family and her fiances family, who are also our neighbors) to have burgers at their house. It was around 6:30 PM and it was overcast. They have a huge ass backyard so when I got there I just walked outside and laid in grass and watched the clouds. Everything was grey, black and white - lovely, really. My sister's dog, Gabby, sat on me few times and nearly ran me over when she chased her duck. But besides that I almost fell asleep out there in the grass.
I was told today at work, again, that I am pessimistic and brutally honest - like I didn't already know this. I almost got upset, but then he laughed and carried on like normal and I didn't have to heart to argue with him when it's true. I was pretty much silently miserable most of the work day, but it wore off by the time we closed and I forgave him, even though he was unaware that I was offended. I'm just a good actor like that. *smirk*
We had drinks after supper with my sister. Jamie (sister) made this smoothy, ice creamy.... concoction and it was pure bliss in a glass. I think it had strawberry daiquiri mix, vanilla ice cream, ice and Malibu Rum all blended together. I downed three glasses with glee and although this time I had drinking companions, I still thought of you guys and made my silent cheers to you. Mix that drink yourself and we'll have come a bit close together in a drunken stupor. The only thing that could have made the night better would have been chocolate covered strawberries to eat as I drank.
