I has been Ticketed.

I got my first speeding ticket the day before yesterday AND I didn't have a current proof of insurance with me. *ducks head* I feel awful about it - 4 1/2 years of good driving and I get caught speeding on my way to class (which I ended being horribly late for). I will have to mail in a current proof of insurance, but I'm not sure what that will do to my fine. I suppose I have to call someone and ask. *huff*

And it wasn't even a local cop, it was a StateTrooper. I was going 67 in a 45, which I admit is WAY over.

Oh well. I'm headed off the class and let's hope I don't get pulled over this time.

If you wait until your court day and take your insurance to the judge your fine will be dropped and you don't have to pay a thing. It happened to me not to long ago too.

Oh, thank you! I've never had any dealings with the law and I feel quite stupid when it comes to these things.

no big. I was clueless too the first time it happened to me. I would have had to pay if someone didn't help me out!
